Palo Alto Tennis Club's most popular social events are the Cubberley and Rinconada Drop-ins.
The Palo Alto Tennis Club holds 6 drop-ins a month, saving you from organizing games and finding players. Drop-ins at Cubberley Park (Middlefield/Montrose) are every Saturday 8-11 am on Courts 1,2 and 4. When it gets hot, the hours are from 7:30-11 am. Contact Alistair Davidson at cubberley@paloaltotennis.com for information if you want to attend. Evites are sent out every Wednesday.
The Rinconada drop-in is on the first and third Sunday of the month at the Rinconada Courts. Play starts promptly at 10 a.m. and is conducted in 40 minute shifts. Put your name on the sign-up sheet when you arrive at the courts, and you'll be matched up with three other players of similar ability for doubles or mixed doubles.
At the end of each shift, all players leave the courts and get assigned new opponents. If there are more 24 players, some people will have to sit out one or more shifts.

Henry Riggs manages the drop-in table. Listen to the bell when its time to change partners.
