Though very cold early, it warmed up; unfortunately one player fell during warmups but ice-packs and bandages were available; fortunately she was able to return home in care of her friend.  

Winners were Rebecca W and Peter I in MXD.  Second place: Ligaya T and Joe H.  Winner was Manu L in Mens Singles. Second place: Andrew F.

Congrats to Laura S and Peter I for a close-fought match on court #1 .  The finalists and semi-finalists were evenly matched as the scores reflect.  The day was slightly overcast, warm but not as hot as the tennis was.  Culinary treats reflected an ability to prepare homemade authentic British breakfast provisions including scones, sausage rolls, strawberries and cream and more, thank you to Felicity and Sam !

Due to low signups (two only) no Mens Singles event will be held; refunds are being provided.

Results are posted, congrats to Peter I and Siri L for high level of Mixed Doubles tournament play, and to Mens Singles winner Chris W and all the competitors.  Vittorio also provided us with an excellent sampling of French cuisine !
