It did not rain...  

There were many close matches on this seasonably warm day. In particular the MXD teams were closely matched, with several tiebreakers and a number of come-from-behind winners. The French menu of jus d'orange, croissant, patisserie sandwiches, escargots, salad de fruits and macarons francaise was enjoyed by all under the large tent after the competition.
